We have received notice that the Year 12 Oxford & Cambridge Student Conference visit arranged for Monday 16th March 2020 has been cancelled. The Universities have sent the below for information:
“In light of developments with the Covid-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge have jointly taken the decision to cancel the Oxford and Cambridge Student Conferences.
We are sorry for the late notice of this announcement, but we hope you will understand that the health, welfare and safety of visitors, students and staff are our number one priority.
Please be assured that both universities are strongly committed to providing opportunities for students to explore our courses and find out about our admissions processes. We are currently investigating alternative provision for the delivery of the conferences and will be in touch with further details. However, you will appreciate that at the moment, we are focussed on making sure that all schools and colleges are aware that the events will no longer be going ahead.”
