We were so saddened to hear about the sudden passing of seven year old Patryk Milner. Our deepest sympathies go out to his family and friends at this very sad time.

‘Sandbach is a tight knit community, at the heart of that is the Rugby club. I have been involved with the club since I was six. Patryk has always been a large figure at the club even before he was able to touch the pitches. He always had a smile on his face and no matter who you were or where you came from he was the first to greet you at the club, he’d be running around the pitch cheering on the first XI on a Saturday and make his way around many age groups on a Sunday. Patryk had only been playing the game for a couple years before this unfortunate event of his death. Andy and Aggie (Patryk’s parents) made the brave decision to donate Patryk’s organs, this tremendous decision helped save 3 other children’s lives. Andy and Aggie also play big roles at the club in feeding almost every player that comes off the pitches whilst also preparing a carvery inside the club they are an integral part of our weekends and many nights throughout the year. On Friday every Sandbach player, coach and parent will have Patryk, Andy and Aggie in our thoughts and prayers. Patryk will be greatly missed by everyone.’
