A somewhat damp and soggy start to the week for sport at Alsager School with Intercollege rounders unfortunately cancelled, this will get moved to an alternative date.
Congratulations to the year 8,9, 10 and 11 pupils who competed at the South Cheshire Athletics Trials on Tuesday. Congratulations to Arthur, Sam, Isaac, Ayah, Lucy and Yaromyr who have been selected to represent South Cheshire at Cheshire County Championships in June.
Primary sports saw our sports leaders taking year 6 pupils through a badminton taster session, Primary pupils enjoyed the experience of a new sport.
A huge CONGRATULATIONS to our Year 11 football team winning the Stoke Sentinal Shield Final. An absolutely fantastic game which saw the team make a comeback to win 4-3 in the last few minutes. Mr Buttery has been invaluable and determined in driving this team forward, please read his match report for more details of the exciting game.
