WB 5th June
This week saw the start of our Rounders tournaments. With Year 9 girls playing on Thursday against St Thomas Moore,Congleton and Holmes Chapel. The girls put in a fantastic performance, and their fielding was in top form, nearly getting a full team out with 5 balls left. The Year 9s ended up placing 3rd in their group! Well done to all who participated!
This week, we would like to congratulate the amazing sporting successes that Alsager have had outside of school over the half-term holidays:
A huge congratulations to James in Year 7 who competed in the British Junior Golf Masters over the half-term holiday. The event was held at Belfry (PGA National) and he came 3rd place, narrowly missing out on the runner-up place, with just one shot in it. This is fantastic James, well done!
Well done to Sophie in Year 9 who recently ran a 5k Race for Life in 28 minutes, which was an excellent time to run it in.
Congratulations to our Year 12 student Reece, who was voted ‘players player’ at Trentham Rugby Club. This is a great achievement Reece, well done!
