Sporting Round Up (W/B 11th December)
Year 7 Football HOME v Shavington
On Tuesday, there were a whole host of Year 7 friendly football games being played against Shavington. There was a range of games being played that were 6 a-side. It was a great evening, with a lot of pupils engaged, who were showing great sportsmanship across all of the games. Well done to all who were involved.
Cheshire Cup Round 3 – Year 7 Girls Football HOME v Beech Hall
The Year 7 girls’ team on Wednesday played in the third round of the Cheshire Cup against Beech Hall. After a good game, the final result was 3 – 1, with some great goals. Tilysha scored 2 with Grace scoring 1. The girls set up a great defence all game, with some excellent performance throughout the game. The girls now prepare for the quarter final match, that will be played after Christmas. Well done to all of the team!
Sporting Honours
Sporting honours can now be found on our new PEPA (PE and Performing Arts) Spotlights – this will be shared bi-weekly, alongside the weekly sporting round up.
