Message from Mrs O’Neill

News from Mrs O'Neill

I hope you have all had a restful half term break.  A special thank you to the staff who accompanied our students on the ski trip over the half term. The pupils and staff had a great time and ski skills definitely improved!

It has been a pleasure to see our pupils return from the holiday with such a positive attitude. They have been upholding our high standards in terms ofuniform and are continuing to follow the Alsager Way. It is wonderful to see them engaged and motivated as we move forward into the term.

As always, there is a lot going on this half term in school.

Year 10 Parents’ Evening will be held next Thursday. Appointment details have been sent out but there is still time to make them if you have not done so already.

For our Year 11 students, they have recently received their mock exam results. With the final exams fast approaching, it is important that they focus and make full use of the extra revision sessions available. We encourage them to attend these sessions to ensure they are fully prepared for the real exams.

Looking ahead, we are excited to celebrate World Book Day next Thursday, where both staff and Sixth Formers will be dressing up as their favourite characters from books. It promises to be a fun and inspiring day for everyone involved.

We are also pleased to announce a change to the Tea, Toast, and Talk event this half term. To better accommodate parents and carers who cannot attend during our usual morning slot, we have moved the time to after school. we will hold the event in the LRC and have Tea, Talk and Take a Book!  This will be held on Wednesday 2nd April 4:15-5:00. We hope this change allows more of you to join us for this enjoyable and engaging event.

Finally, as a gentle reminder, we kindly ask all parents and carers to park away from the school building to ensure the safety and smooth flow of traffic during pick-up and drop-off times.

As always, thank you for your ongoing support and whatever your plans, have a lovely weekend.

“Come the spring with all its splendour, all its birds, and all its blossoms!” – (Christina Rossetti)
