Message from Mrs O’Neill

I understand that there may be some confusion or concern following recent events at the school during lunchtime today.  I want to reassure you that there was no lockdown situation today.  We made the decision not to allow pupils to leave the school premises during lunchtime. Our priority is always to ensure the safety of all students, and after careful consideration, we felt this was the best course of action at that time. All students were able to access the canteen and therefore have lunch.  Behaviour of all pupils at lunchtime was exemplary.  I have been made aware of rumours circulating and want to reassure you that this was not a lockdown situation.  All pupils will be able to leave the site at the end of the school day, as usual.
