We have said goodbye to our Y13 students today. Leaving days are always tinged with sadness but what great opportunities lie ahead for all of our students. They have been such a fantastic year group, and we will all miss them. In keeping with tradition, there were some fantastic fancy dress outfits, and they looked like they have had a great day and a fitting send off to their time at Alsager School and A6. I would like to extend my thanks to all parents and carers for your support over the past two or seven years and if it is your last child leaving us, I wish you all the best for the future.
We have also said to our Y11 pupils that they only need to return now for exams and for the maximising achievement sessions. Full details will be emailed to you regarding how to get onto site etc for exams. We also want to give them a proper send off and on Thursday 6th June, following the English language exam, they will be able to sign shirts, collect prom tickets and hoodies and we will have a leavers’ assembly for them as well. They have been a great year group and conduct to date in the exams has been fantastic. A reminder that they need to use the week ahead to plough on with revision so that they can give their absolute best to their final exams. I would like to thank all parents and carers for your continued support and hope to see you during the sixth form years.
