Message from Mrs O’Neill

It is with great sadness that I am writing to inform of the passing of Pat Arnott. Pat was a huge part of Alsager School; many of you will have been taught by Pat and more recently she was in lessons as a cover teacher and as a stalwart of the lunch queue in our canteen. It is not just in school where Pat played a huge role. Pat’s contribution to community sport has been immense. Her commitment to grass roots netball has meant that generations of children have been involved in netball, with Pat fostering a love of the sport which has enabled many girls to get to county and national level. Pat will be missed without doubt, and she will leave a huge hole in everyone’s life who is connected to the school and local community.  We send our love to Pat’s family at this very sad time.
