A group of year 8 girls attended the event run by Barclays Global Tech Centre designed to make girls alert to the wide range of opportunities within the technology sector.
During the day they met a range of female executives, completed a robotics challenge, worked in cryptography and considered future technology.
Dr Middleton, ICT teacher, said: “It was lovely to see so many bright young girls exploring the opportunities that Computer Science has to offer”.
