Curriculum Outline – Year 7, 8 and 9

Our mission statement “an achieving school, a caring community” is reflected in the curriculum which enables students to pursue and develop their talents, academic interests and skills.

At KS3 (Year 7, 8 and 9) the curriculum is broad and balanced. Students will study a range of creative, practical, scientific and academic subjects. They will also develop cross –curricular skills, explore issues of identity and value and in Year 8 will receive careers education, information advice and guidance to prepare them for choosing their options (the subjects they will choose to study in Years 10 and 11).
