Our annual school production, ‘Annie’ was recently performed over three nights for audiences to enjoy, plus two matinee performances for local primary schools.
It was a colourful extravaganza which celebrated the collaboration between the Music, Drama, Dance and Art departments, as well as incorporating pupils from Cranberry Academy, Excalibur, Alsager Highfields, Pikemere and Weston primary schools.
Mr Galley, Subject Leader of Music, said: ”Over 150 students and staff from within the Alsager community worked together as a team to produce a brilliant show and it was just great to be part of that team. I would just like to say how fantastic our students all were this year. From the back stage team, lights, sound and pit band, through to the chorus, dancers, main cast and all 5 primary schools. I was simply blown away by their commitment, enthusiasm and performance standards. We hope they all enjoyed the journey from the rehearsal stages to the performances themselves”.
