Unifrog is our ‘one-stop’ careers and destinations support platform that students use throughout their time at sixth form. In spite of its name Unifrog provides an equal level of support for students not wishing to go to university and who are looking to secure apprenticeship or employment opportunities.
Unifrog serves a multitude of functions, from students exploring options for future careers, researching the university and apprenticeship that interest them to building and refining the materials they will use in their applications such as Personal Statements or CVs.
The UCAS Hub provides tool to help with exploring subjects, considering apprenticeships, shortlisting university options, and writing a killer personal statement or CV. When students come to submitting their actual university application this is also done through UCAS Hub and we would therefore recommend students setting up an account (with their personal email address) early on in Year 12.
HE+ provides a comprehensive programme of information, advice and guidance sessions and study skills support in order to help ensure students make both a successful application and also a successful transition to highly selective universities, such as those in the Russell Group.
Apprenticeship and Employment Guidance
As a sixth form we are committed to ensuring students looking to progress onto apprenticeships and employment opportunities receive a full programme of support. This includes weekly group workshops to learn about where and how to search for opportunities, write CV’s, and letters for applications, interview skills, mock interviews and individual CEIAG meetings.
