On Monday 28th April, Alsager School were successful in the Cheshire Golf Championships by winning the team event. The competition was held at Wilmslow Golf Club. The team consisted of 8 pupils – James Woby, Cormac Narey, Jack Potter, Ted Myatt, Cory Fahy,Jacob Challinor, Fergus Clare and Daniel Kennerley
Alsager School will now represent Cheshire in the English Schools Championships held at Woodhall Golf Club, Lincolnshire (Home of England Golf) in July, alongside 36 other schools.
Corey Fahy, Ted Myatt and Cormac Narey will make up the Alsager School Team in the final as they had the lowest net scores in the Cheshire Championships.
A brilliant achievement by all the pupils who contributed to the team score.
