Sporting round up W/B 16.9.24
A fantastic start to PE extra curricular this week with over 130 pupils participating in netball and football on Tuesday night, over 50 pupils at girls football and rugby on Wednesday and Friday brought our very popular badminton club with pupils from year 7 to 11 in attendance. Over 230 pupils in the first week back, fantastic! Well done to everyone who attended!
Tuesday also saw the first fixture of the year, with the Year 10 football team playing in the Cheshire Cup against Congleton, a fantastic match which unfortunately resulted in a 2-1 loss. Goal scored by DP.

Football fixtures – Year 7, 8, 9, 10 Football HOME vs Holmes Chapel, selected players only. Meet by Medwyn Jones changing rooms

Wednesday
Girls football training, for year 7 – 11. Meet by the Medwyn Jones changing rooms (bring football boots, if you have them).
Rugby training for all year groups. Meet by the Medwyn Jones changing rooms (bring football boots and gum shield)
Year 8 football HOME vs Epsom. Selected players only. Meet by Medwyn Jones changing rooms
Thursday
Primary Sports. Selected sports leaders.
Friday
Badminton. Meet at the sportshall, get changed into PE kit in the sport.
A reminder, all pupils should be in PE kit for clubs.
