Update from Mrs O’Neill

Thank you to the parents/carers who have shown their support to the school this week.  Your kind words have been much appreciated.  Some of the correspondence we have received has highlighted that many of you are facing really challenging circumstances, caused by an unrelenting virus.  This is a difficult time and we know that the cases of Covid 19 are unfortunately rising across Cheshire East.  The decisions we are having to make are unprecedented; we are following advice, using the information we have at hand and implementing plans to enable us to continue to provide the best education for all students in difficult circumstances.  We have acted in what we believe to be the best interests of the community.  We have always prided ourselves on being supportive of each other.  Should we have any cases in the future, we will respond accordingly, based on advice from PHE and Cheshire East.  We will continue to keep you updated as the need arises through our website and social media platforms, rather than responding to individual enquiries, where appropriate.
