This term students in their year 8 and 9 English lessons have been learning about journalism. In partnership with Staffordshire University some of these students have entered the ‘Future Journalist Awards’.
This competition is organised by Staffordshire University with the support of StaffsLive; aiming to discover the next generation of journalists in and around Staffordshire. Students were encouraged to submit a piece of written content, such as an article, review or blog, or to create a short video or audio clip on a topic of their choice. We have had some brilliant entries this year and look forward to finding out who the winning applicants are.
